The author of al-Jawahir al-Manthurah ('Abd al-Hasib ibn Ahmad al-'Alawi) gives this method for whoever wants to see his request in a dream.
If the request is not seen in a dream the first night, it will be seen within the following seven nights.
This method is reported to have been carried out by some people who succeeded in seeing their requests answered.
Text and Translation
Before sleeping, recite each of these 7 times: [Surah al-Shams](A95), [Surah al-Layl](A96), [Surah al-Tin](A99), [Surah al-Ikhlas](A116), [Surah al-Falaq](A117) and [Surah al-Nas](A118). Some scholars also add [Surah al-Duha](A97) and [Surah al-Inshirah](A98).
Then perform ghusl, sleep in a pure place wearing pure clothes, face the qiblah, and lie on your right side as the dead lie in their graves, intending what you want to see.
