Text and Translation
With a saffron liquid in a clean vessel, write out [Surah al-Faatehah](A5), [Ayat al-Kursi](A4), [Surah al-Qadr](A101), [Surah Yasin](A40), [Surah al-Waqiah](A60), [Surah al-Hashr](A63), [Surah al-Mulk](A71), [Surah al-Ikhlas](A116), [Surah al-Falaq](A117), and [Surah al-Nas](A118) on a patch.
Then wash it with water from the Zamzam spring, rainwater, or other clean water.
Add two mithqals of olibanum (frankincense), ten mithqals of sugar, and ten mithqals of honey, place it under sunlight with a piece of iron laid on it.
In the last hours of the night, offer a two-unit prayer, reciting Surah al-Faatehah once and Surah al-Ikhlas fifty times in each unit; upon finishing, drink that water — it is proven useful for strengthening memory, Allah willing.
