Namaz-e-Hadiya for the Masumeen (a.s.)

Text and Translation

Offer four units of prayer (eight on Friday), saying the Taslim after every two units, and dedicate them to the Holy Imams as follows:

On Saturday, other four units of prayer are offered and dedicated to Imam AliAmeer al-Momineen(a.s.).

Likewise, four units of prayer may be offered every day and dedicated to one of the Holy Imams respectively.

Thus, on Thursday, four units are offered and dedicated to Imam Ja’far ibn Muhammad al-Sadiq(a.s.).

On Friday, eight units of prayer are offered; four of them are dedicated to the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) and four to Lady Fatimah (a.s.).

On Saturday, four units of prayer are offered and dedicated to Imam Musa ibn Ja’far al-Kazim (a.s.).

Hence, on Thursday, the four units of prayer are dedicated to Imam al-Mahdi the Patron of the Age, may Allah hasten his reappearance.

The supplicatory prayer to be said between each couple of units is the following:

اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَ مِنْكَ السَّلَامُ وَ اِلَيْكَ يَعُوْدُ السَّلَامُ حَيِّنَا رَبَّنَا مِنْكَ بِالسَّلَامِ اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّ هٰذِهِ الرَّكَعَاتِ هَدِيَّةٌ مِنَّا اِلٰى وَلِيِّكَ.

ALLAAHUMMA ANTAS SALAAMU WA MINKAS SALAAMU WA ILAYKA YA'OODUS SALAAMU HAYYINAA RABBANAA MINKA BIS SALAAMI ALLAAHUMMA INNA HAAZIHIR RAKA'AATI HADIYYATUN MINNAA ILAA WALIYYIK.

O Allah, You are Peace, from You is peace, and to You peace returns. Greet us, our Lord, from You with peace. O Allah, these units of prayer are a gift from us to Your representative,

You should mention the name of the Imam to whom these units are dedicated.

فَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِهٖ وَ بَلِّغْهُ اِيَّاهَا وَاَعْطِنِىْ اَفْضَلَ اَمَلِىْ وَ رَجَاۤئِىْ فِيْكَ وَ فِىْ رَسُوْلِكَ صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَ اٰلِهٖ.

FASALLI A'LAA MUHAMMADIN WA AALIHEE WA BALLIGHHU IYYAAHAA WA-A'TINEE AFZALA AMALEE WA RAJAA-EE FEEKA WA FEE RASOOLIKA SALAWAATUKA A'LAYHI WA AALIH.

So send blessings to Muhammad and his Household, convey them to him, and grant me the best of my hopes and expectations in You and in Your Messenger, Your blessings be upon him and his Household.

You may now pray Almighty Allah for any thing you wish.
